Cases

Real challenges. Real impact.

Proof from regulated healthcare environments, based on commercial accountability, not advisory frameworks.

Case 01Strategic partnerships · Strategic accounts

€10M+

DSM Biomedical

International co-development and supply partnerships within medical devices and biomaterials, with commercial opportunities exceeding €10 million.

Situation
DSM Biomedical develops and supplies biomaterials for medical applications. Growth there does not come from one-off sales, but from long-term co-development and supply relationships with MedTech and pharma companies.
Role
Global Business & Commercial Development Manager (2018–2021), responsible for partnerships, licensing and strategic accounts, with EMEA as a key part of the scope.
Result
  • More than €10M in co-development opportunities built
  • Development and supply relationships up to eight-figure value
  • DSM Circle of Excellence 2019
Case 02Healthcare ventures

EU GMP

Stabican

Co-built an EU-GMP platform for analysis and formulation within a regulated pharmaceutical environment, from financing to first patient use.

Situation
Supplying into a regulated pharma environment requires an EU GMP foundation for analysis and formulation. That foundation still had to be built.
Role
Co-founder & Managing Director of Stabican (2017–2023).
Result
  • A platform for analysis and formulation, built from concept to real-world application
  • EU GMP certification obtained in 2022
  • In discussions with pharma companies about deploying the platform
Case 03Commercialization

Market access

Allergan

Market access, pricing and reimbursement for two business units: the conditions under which a product actually reaches the patient.

Situation
A product only reaches patients once reimbursement and adoption into care are in place. Market access therefore determines commercial success.
Role
Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement Manager (2013–2015), for two business units.
Result
  • Developed pricing, reimbursement and value strategies for pharmaceutical and ophthalmology products, working with hospitals, payers and clinicians.
Case 04Commercialization

Value communication

Merz

Situation
Specialists, hospitals and nursing institutions choose a therapy not only on clinical value, but also on what the treatment yields them.
Role
Independent Business Consultant / Strategic Commercial Advisor (Q22), engagement directly for Merz.
Result
  • Developed an approach for Merz to show clients (specialists, hospitals, nursing institutions) how to declare the treatment as a DBC based on injected units, and what revenue this generates alongside the clinical value.
